Deep Body Therapy is a body-oriented and awareness-based approach that works through conscious touch, presence, and deep fascial and connective tissue work.

The focus is not on “fixing” the body, but on listening to it, on giving a space.

The body is seen as a living system — intelligent, responsive, and holding physical, emotional, and experiential memory.

Through respectful and attentive touch, I stay in close attunement with what is present in the body — where I invite you moment by moment. From this place, the system can begin to release chronic tension, soften protective patterns, and reorganize itself naturally. This place where you open up to meet your realizations.

What may happen in a session

Each session is different, but often includes:

  • release of physical and emotional tension
  • a deeper sense of grounding and presence
  • nervous system regulation and relaxation
  • increased body awareness
  • meeting and allowing emotional experiences that arise in the body
  • space for processing held patterns, or old protective structures
  • restoration of a more natural flow of energy and vitality in the body
  • a sense of clarity, openness, and inner connection
  • conscious choices made in the moment that can gradually change your life beyond the session.

The process is gentle, but can also be deeply transformative.

Some sessions may support the release of trauma-related patterns stored in the body, always at the pace of the system itself.

The work continues to unfold in the days after the session.

Rebalancing®

I base my works on the Rebalancing® method — a holistic body therapy approach that integrates body reading, deep connective tissue massage, joint-release, body awareness, energy work, movement education, breath-work, emotional presence, and therapeutic touch. Rebalancing is a deep meditative work on the physical, mental, emotional and energy levels.

It is a process that supports the integration of body, mind, and emotional experience into a more unified and grounded state. The unity of body, mind and heart.

The body is not treated as a mechanism to be corrected, but as a system that already carries its own intelligence and direction toward balance.

When attention, presence, and respectful touch meet the body, change can happen naturally — without force.

This work is guided by what is present in the moment, rather than a fixed idea of what “should” happen.

This can open space for new choices, deeper awareness, and a more connected way of being.

Sessions

You can come to a session with a specific issue, emotional state, body’s story or life situation — or simply with a wish to rest, reconnect, and explore yourself through the body.

Each session is a complete process in itself, and also part of a deeper unfolding over time.

*you can come for a single session, a short series, or enter a deeper process of 10 sessions. The structure depends on your needs, your life situation and readiness, and what your body & heart are asking for.

About Me

My name is Meera. I am a holistic therapist with more than 18 years of experience, and over 20 years on a therapeutic and spiritual path.

As a therapist, I rely on my professional education, the Rebalancing method, therapy training, NDT, apprenticeship and shamanic diets in the Yawanawa tradition, as well as training in Tempeldal and experience gained along my path.

In my sessions, I combine therapeutic work, knowledge of the physical body, energy work, a meditative approach, subtle sensing, intuitive perception, and a space of deep prayer.
